SANDY CRAWFORD

PRESIDENT

Sandy serves as an inspiration to women in male-dominated industries like Hollywood by rising on the merits of her natural intelligence, hard work and tenacity. Sandy’s history with illuminate dates back to the very moment it opened its doors in 1995 when she was hired on a one-week basis as a receptionist.

Starting at the ground floor like Disney CEO Bob Iger and Xerox CEO Ursula Burns, Sandy expertly grew with the company as she learned every facet of it, rising through shipping and receiving to accounting, taking on invoices, collections and vendor contracts, serving as General Manager and Executive Vice President, and ultimately stepping into the role of illuminate President in 2017.

Now overseeing company-wide operations, client relations, human resources, communications, and a staff of fifty employees across five divisions, Sandy is the very heart that beats at illuminate’s center. Working closely with owners James Hardy and Steven Wiener, she provides unparalleled value to illuminate’s clients while steadfastly maintaining a vision of the company’s core strengths as a technology solutions provider to the entertainment industry with a bright future in an era of Hollywood high-tech.   Sandy feels fortunate to have built such great relationships with many clients, including Sony, Fox, CBS, Netflix, NBC-Universal and Lionsgate.

Sandy is as passionate with her pastimes as she is in her role at illuminate. An avid golfer and sports enthusiast, she is also a generous champion for the underdog, whether it be a sick child or a sheltered animal. She is a sponsor for Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, ASPCA and FixNation in Sun Valley dedicated to reducing the suffering of homeless, stray and feral cats. Above all, Sandy is a devoted wife and mother who dotes on her two sons Chancellor and Diesel.
