The Illuminate Management Team

illuminate’s management team combines vision, leadership and expertise with an unwavering commitment to serve the evolving needs of clients in the global film, television and digital distribution markets.

Accomplishments include the development of leading-edge film restoration technology and completion of award-winning post production work.

JimJim Hardy

Jim Hardy is known industry-wide as an authority on film restoration and conversion – and as an advocate for “clients first.” Jim’s corporate leadership over the past decade has helped earn Illuminate Hollywood a reputation for technical and artistic excellence throughout the film and television community in Hollywood and worldwide.

Jim’s passion for film began as a teenager growing up in Utica, New York. “I would sit there watching the credits at the end. I knew I needed to be a part of this business.” A move to Los Angeles offered opportunities to learn every aspect of the business, from tape operations to colorist to management. He worked on “Risky Business,” “Cheers,” “Topper,” a slew of Ronald Reagan films and several Roger Corman classics.

There’s nothing like recreating the original vision of a great director or cinematographer so that our children can discover the work of Frank Capra, George Lucas or Steven Spielberg. the way it was meant to see. We continue to create new products and technologies that advance the industry and augment our clients’ revenue goals,” says Jim. He has on his target short-list the best of classic TV series and films by leading directors whose works can further stand the test of time with the Illuminate Hollywood team’s help.

Jim has guided Illuminate Hollywood’s relationships with major studios for whom the company has worked on such extraordinary films as “American Graffiti,” “The Good, Bad and Ugly,” “Cleopatra,” “Scarface,” “Back to the Future,” “Boomerang,” “Man on a Tightrope, “and many others.
